How can you benefit from this service?

Introduction

The NeatStreets Technology Platform is arguably one of the world's most advanced cloud-based platforms for location-based reporting and monitoring with a strong focus on data protection and data privacy. All our reporting and monitoring tools are delivered as mobile apps (iOS, Android) or as web-plugins that you can even add on to your own site.

If you have strict SLA policies that exist or are coming into effect, the good news is that the NeatStreets Services can be used to monitor customer reporting and response behaviour anywhere in the world!

Some of our more advanced mobile tools include:

  • Asset-inspection assessment tools with the ability to interact with your GIS datasets.
  • City-works monitoring tools
Because our tools are delivered as 'Software-as-a-Service' we can configure and offer these mobile products and services to you at significantly lower cost on rapid release cycles than alternative enterprise solutions.

Security and Data Protection

Data Protection enforcement is here to stay and affects industry and government agencies alike. It is going to be a rude shock unless you and your service providers are truly prepared for it.

Our Service operates entirely within SE Australia as a Microsoft Azure hosted solution architecture.

We take appropriate technical measures to protect all the information we store and have adopted a philosophy of data storage, handling and breach prevention ‘by design’. Here are some of the features you get 'out-of-the-box':

  • SOC 1 (Type 2), SOC 2 (Type 2) data security compliance via Azure
  • Strict firewall Access Control
  • Suspicious SQL activity monitoring and notification
  • DDoS-attack resistance
  • Dynamic (hacker threat) IP blocking
  • Tokenised identity management
  • Message and transport layer encryption of its Service APIs
  • Man-In-the-Middle (MIM) resistance of its Web Reporting Tools.

Data Privacy

We take our obligations with respect to the control of personal information very seriously. Refer to the Privacy Policy for details. Organisations on premium access levels can configure their accounts so that incoming reports arrive on private data channels. Organisations also have total control to show or hide specific content from public visibility. Organisations also have the ability to rate-control the number of reports that can arrive from specific mobile devices.

Authority-level Management

Your organisation is also free to download and use the NeatStreets App without charge. If you are a local authority, we will also provide you with one free Authority Account on our online management portal to manage reports and inquries that arrive from your customers.

Once you are on the NeatStreets management portal, you can communicate with cusomers 'in-app' and also update reports.

We can also offer an Application Programming Interface (i.e 'The NeatStreets API') so you can integrate the incoming reports with your existing Asset/GIS/CRM systems.

Reporting and Inspection Tools

If your organisation requires a NeatStreets-like app, for more specific reporting (we call this 'Expert-sourcing'), we can rapidly deploy apps across iOS and Android or even configure a cross-domain compliant web plugin that sits in your very own web site.

We can even geo-fence filter activity from your organisation to more specific regions as you require.

We are even able to serve your GIS datasets (e.g. streetlights, power poles, underground connector boxes, etc ..) to these apps in realtime. Reports submitted with your GIS data selected, will come back to you with your GIS codes attached!

Crowd-sourcing Reports

In certain countries, citizens can freely download and use our public-facing apps (i.e. the 'NeatStreets' app) to report infrastructure problems. It is a rapidly growing community!

Using our reporting apps, citizens can submit reports with photographs, comments and a validated location in under a minute.

Our servers maintain over 10,000 digitised geo-polygons (digitised jurisdictional boundaries) across several countries that allow us to identify when and where a citizen's report originates and who is responsible for repair, maintenance or monitoring.

If you are an organisation that owns or maintains public-facing asset infrastructure, the chances are that you have already received notifications from us.

We are even able to send reports, directly to the relevant department within organisations. Don't hesitate to ask us about it!
